One of the fastest growing areas on the internet is the digital library & archive. Numerous sites offer free downloads of public domain books, radio and TV shows, classic films and videos. Many more sites allow visitors to view material on-line. Below are a few links to good on-line resources for digital material. Click on images and/or text to go to the web site.
PROJECT GUTENBERG is the oldest on-line source for free downloads of books in the public domain, usually written materials over 75 years old. Easy search engine by author or title also makes this one of the most accessible sites.
THE INTERNET PUBLIC LIBRARY is another excellent source of on-line FREE books to read and download, and cover a wide array of subjects such as Short Stories, Fiction, Christian Studies, and Children's Literature.
ROLLYO is an exceptional search engine to locate free, public domain e-books on-line.  Just type in the search field and GO!
THE INTERNET ARCHIVE DATABASE has thousands of free, public domain films, newsreels, television shows, and more. Download the files directly to your computer to watch at your own pace.
